Buenos Aires, June 14 (Xinhua) Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho denied he was the superstar of the Brazil squad and said he was just another member of the team, according to a report in the Argentine daily El Clarin.
'I am just one more team member with the same responsibilities because we all have one thing in common - we want to win the World Cup,' said Ronaldinho.
But he added that Argentina's Lionel Messi, his colleague in Spanish league club Barcelona, will have a worldwide impact when he plays.
'I know that Messi has not yet played and right now he is feeling tense and is anxious. But I would tell him to calm down, to be patient. Everything has its time and when Leo plays it will have a worldwide impact. Messi is very important for Argentina and football in general,' he said.
Ronaldinho added that the Brazil team was really a family and that even though it was a platitude, it was really true that they enjoyed themselves and spoke the same language in all senses of the phrase.
'I have been asked many times if I feel more pressure in this World Cup because I have been given the best player award, and I have to say sincerely that I don't,' he added.
