Berlin, June 29 (DPA) Germany go into their World Cup quarter-final against Argentina 'full of aggression and passion', coach Juergen Klinsmann said Thursday.
'Expectations are great in both countries. We are looking forward to the challenge. It will be a very hard-fought game and we will have to go to our limits. We are prepared for this,' Klinsmann said.
Klinsmann said his side had taken a big step forward since last year's two draws with Argentina and now believed it was in a position to match teams like Argentina and Brazil.
'We have no fear and aim to be here until the end,' he said on the eve of Friday's match here.
Captain Michael Ballack said: 'The team is relaxed and confident. We are realistic, and realistically we have a great chance.'
Told by an Argentinian journalist that Argentina striker Javier Saviola saw his side's chances as 60-40, Ballack replied: 'I see it exactly like that as well, only the other way round.'
