London, July 9 (IANS) Keith Richards, the controversial guitarist of the Rolling Stones, has contributed towards an album of religious music.
According to contactmusic.com, Richards played for an album of African-American spiritual music called 'My Soul is a Witness' alongside his sister-in-law Marsha Hansen.
He played the guitar in songs like 'I want Jesus to walk with me' and 'Rock to Jerusalem'.
Hansen said: 'His understanding of music is deep. He's intrigued by African-American roots music.'
A source added: 'Some of Keith's friends back in Britain have been poking fun, saying he's now jamming with Jehovah.'
