London, July 9 (IANS) Actor Robert Downey Jr. has come up with an unusual method of memorising his film scripts and dialogues.
He takes the first letter of every word, writes them all down and just stares at them in his spare time, reported contactmusic.com. He said he is not losing his memory but he needed a new way to remember.
He recently starred in the movie 'A Scanner Darkly' where he had to remember more than a thousand words a day of dialogue for his chatterbox character.
He said: 'I take all the words and then I take the first letter of each word and then I write that out as a long acronym and put it on a poster. Then I'll look at it in the corner of the room instead of watching TV after I'm done working... and then I'll just study it so it just kinda looks like one long weird thing.
'It is now a study technique that I originated.'
