Salah al-Din, May15, (VOI)-Unknown gunmen kidnapped the director of Tikrit public hospital and two doctors in Salah al-Din province, a police source said.
“Unknown gunmen kidnapped doctor Jabbar Mahroos, director of Tikrit public hospital, his assistant doctor Abdel Razzaq al-Qaisi and doctor Ahmed Salah in al-Hamra district on thr road between Tikrit city and Beiji town”, a Salah al-Din hospital source, who requested anonmity, told Aswat al-Iraq-Voices of Iraq(VOI).
The source noted “the gunmen abducted the doctors while they were heading home in Beiji”.
He added “security forces were on alert and have conducted a campaign to search for the kidnapped doctors”.
Tikrit, the capiatl city of Salah al-Din province, lies 175 km north Baghdad.
