Jason Lewis was “introverted” at school

The 36-year-old actor insists he is nothing like his confident ‘Sex and the City: The Movie’ character Smith Jerrod and used to be quite shy when he was younger.

He said: “When I was in high school I was a little bit more introverted - I loved reading books.”

Jason – who recently split from girlfriend Rosario Dawson – also set the record straight about his relationship with ‘Friends’ actress Jennifer Aniston.

He added to Usmagazine.com: “I don't know Jennifer, we never dated. I have now officially met her once - she was lovely. We met at a party. I think she was probably dating somebody else at the time.

“There was nothing else to it - we finally ran into each other at a party. We had a couple of laughs and jokes about it because it was complete speculation!”

Jason reprises his role as Smith, the younger model boyfriend of Kim Cattrall’s maneater character Samantha Jones, in ‘Sex and the City: The Movie’, in cinemas worldwide now.
