Patna, June 3 (ANI): Bhojpuri album 'Chakka Jam' sung by the singer Chotu Chaliya, is being shot in Patna highlighting atrocities committed during an anti-migrant campaign in Maharashtra early this year.

The singer Chotu Chaliya, through the album also wants to convey a message of friendship to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray and urge him not to divide the country.

"The main aim of this album is when Raj Thackeray's atrocities were unleashing in Mumbai, at that time I was there in Mumbai. As I opened the TV, I saw that activists of Thackeray's party beating up the auto drivers, vegetable vendors and people in trains. I am also a north Indian. I felt very bad about all this. This news continued for three-four days. My heart was in pain due to all this. Everybody, the leaders, the administration, court tried a lot to calm down Raj Thackeray, but he refused to agree with anybody. But it is said that the music is such a thing that touches everybody's heart. I have also tried to calm down Thackeray through my songs," said Chotu Chalia, Bhojpuri singer.

The director of the album Ravindra Singh is himself acting in the album and he wants to dedicate this song to the north Indians.

"We want to give a message to Raj Thackeray that all the country men are one. The state does not belong to any single person. We are filming a song sung by singer Chotu Chaliya in Patna," added Ravindra Singh, director of the album.

The album Chakka Jam has eight songs and depicts that people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are part of Mumbai, and the north Indians will not go anywhere from here.
