Booze saves Brit man after 50ft fall

London, Jun 8 (ANI): In a bizarre incident, a British holidaymaker fell 50ft from a hotel balcony and lived to tell the tale - because he was drunk.

Theo Paget, 20, was dubbed by doctors as the "rubber band man" after he survived the fall.

"They were amazed I lived to tell the tale. I was like a rubber ball and just bounced," The Sun quoted him as saying.

According to the doctors, the fall from the third-storey should have killed Paget, but because of the cocktail of booze and drugs that he had taken, his muscles were relaxed enabling his body to absorb the impact.

Paget recalled how after the fall he immediately jumped up and ran off.

Meanwhile his friends and the hotel security in Marmaris, Turkey, searched for him for two hours before he walked back into the lobby complaining of a sore back.

When he was taken to the hospital, it was discovered that he had fractured his spine. (ANI)
